An elegant Art Nouveau era brass dish featuring females figures in relief surrounded by floral and geometric patterns. Stamped “A.R. Déposé No. 254” on the reverse—marking it as an early 20th-century French registered design. Likely used on a writing desk or in a gentleman’s study. I found this lovely piece in a Paris antique shop. Patina and wear consistent with age. Age-related wear, scattered oxidation and specks.
